The
Personal Side
I
was born in the Philippines and came to the United
States when I was only eleven years old. I spoke
very little to zero English, but I was determined to
learn over time by taking ESL (English as a Second
Language) and learning from my cousins and my newly
developed friends. I grew up learning traditional
values like – treating women with the utmost
respect, responding to elders as “sir” or “ma’am”,
the meaning of trust behind a handshake, the
importance of good work ethic, and most importantly,
the "Golden Rule" - "Treat others the
way you want to be treated"! but beyond that...
You must also "Think of others the way you want
to be thought of" to make the Golden Rule
complete.
After
graduating high school, I began my professional
career in the United States Navy. The lessons
and character traits I learned as a young Sailor
have been invaluable in both my personal and
professional lives - integrity, leadership,
initiative, humility and respect – just to name a
few.
After
a successful tour with the Navy (active and
reserves) I transitioned to the private sector and have held positions ranging from
Industrial Engineering/Technology Support Group Training Supervisor
& Specialist for
United Parcel Service to Business Owner of
International Companies.
I
am a student of personal and professional
development and committed to life long learning.
I am passionate about transferring the skills,
knowledge, wisdom, and values I’ve developed over
time to the next generation and future leaders, our
children!
To
encourage others to be more, have more, do more, and
to give more, and to live life with a definite
purpose and a definite plan.
I
have two beautiful children from my previous wife,
Nick and Shawna. There is nothing more
important to me than being a man my kids can be
proud to call “father” and living my full God
given potential to impact those around me. To give
back to charity, to the community, and to humanity
to help make this world a much better place for our
future generations, our Children and their
Children!!!
My
goal is to educate everyone who wants to learn and
who is looking for an option, or just open to
expanding their wealth of knowledge. What I've
learned over the years is that there is a better
way... the methods and mindset of the 5% who are
doing something different that makes them successful
than those 95% of the masses struggling just to
survive.
And
most importantly, I want to share with everyone the
importance of Personal Growth and Personal
Development, because...
"Your
Net Worth Will Never Exceed Your Self Worth." (Darren
Hardy-Success Magazine and self-made millionaire
in his early 20s).
And
"Personal Growth Is Like Taking A Bath Or
Taking A Shower, It's Not Something You Can Do Just
Once In Awhile." (Zig
Ziglar).
Bruce
Lee's ultimate philosophy was "To Honestly
Express Yourself", meaning to always be true
and honest of and to yourself by expressing your
True inner self through Action. Everything that you
do and say should be everything that you are from
within. Not imitating, not pretending, just being...
You. The natural you, so that your actions are
always second nature, the act of doing without
thinking, a life action of Reflex.
"Adopt
what is useful,
Reject what is useless,
and Add what is specifically your own."
"Be
Formless, Be Shapeless, Be like water."
